Lorena Aldrete

Founder · DUI and license defense

I take the cases that feel like the end of a good life. They are not, and I know how to read them.

I'm a Las Vegas lawyer who handles driving cases and nothing else. I grew up speaking Spanish at home and English at school, and I watched my parents rely on children to translate for them at counters and courtrooms. I decided no client of mine would have to.

I read every file myself. I would rather tell you a hard truth on the first call than a comfortable one on the last.

What a case with Lorena looks like

The first call is short. Lorena asks what is on the paper, what the court date is, and whether you have already spoken to a DMV office. She files for the hearing the same day if one is needed.

Then she reads. The police report, the video, the lab or breath-test records. She marks what does not line up and brings it to the first meeting, in English or Spanish, whichever you think in.

You get a plan with the fee, the steps and the possible outcomes in writing. She calls after every hearing, including the ones where nothing happens.
